Speed...
The T2emp is built around the same technology that now powers the latest performance notebooks – the core of which is the Pentium Mobile CPU, and the 855 support chipset. This lesser known CPU is based on a short pipe, with a massive 2MB cache, what does that mean ? It means that the clock speed, the normal performance indicator, can no longer be used so simply. What does this mean for the T2eMP ? Speed – recent reviews suggest that even the entry level CPU, as used in the T2emp, the 1.6GHz will out perform a desktop equipped with a 2.8GHz P4 CPU, and the top of the range 2.0GHz equipped T2eMP will give a 3.4GHz equipped desktop a good challenge.

CPU performance alone ? If your requirements are for more than just CPU power, and you need impressive 3D performance, for gaming, etc – then consider opting for the ATi M10 AGP add on, this small card brings 3D to life, and in the popular Futuremark 3D2001SE tests, scores of 10,000 are achieved, which is good enough for all but the very latest demanding games. Adding this card, also provides TV out, and DVI options.

Silence...
Speedy CPUs are normally associated with noisy coolers, not so with the T2eMP. The core value of all Tranquil PC products, is that they are quiet, to be precise, almost silent. The T2eMP is no different. The Tranquil cooling system, for either the CPU alone, or the ATi M10 processor and the CPU, provides excellent temperature control – so much so, that in our tests, our fanless cooling system out performs the stock HSF supplied for these CPUs. In a desk top PC, it is not just the CPU and AGP fans that make a noise - the PSU fan, case fan and hard disks all contribute. There is no PSU or case fans in the T2emp, and the hard disk (s) are mounted on a specially designed anti-vibration caddy. This caddy not only reduces vibration induced noise, but it also keeps the hard disk (s) cooler too – which keeps them running at peak performance, not to mention lasting much longer.

Style...
Speed and Silence are rarely found in the same sentence, when it comes to describing a PC – but to have such a PC that looks good too ? Is it expecting too much ? Not at all – the T2eMP is a low profile (63mm) chassis, that will find it self at home perfectly in your Audio / Visual centre, or on your desktop. We use the highest quality components in every part of the T2eMP product, even the paint is stove enamelled on, so it is not only good looking, but tough too.


Stability...
Having Speed, Silence and Style all in the same sentence ? Now we add Stability. Due to the extremely good cooling systems, for the CPU and the hard disk (s), we can with a great deal of confidence offer stability and reliability. As the system is normally kept at a steady low temperature there are no thermal shocks. Also with the removal of all fans, we have removed the problem associated with dust build up, and wear and tear of the fans – which ultimately lead to fan failure, and then total system failure. When you need 24/7/365 reliability for your server, your office, your media centre etc, the number one choice has to be the T2eMP unit.
