• Which motherboards are used ?
  Answer - VIA EPIA 5000, M6000 and PD6000, we do not use fanned motherboards in the T3
• Can I use any PCI card ?
  Answer - No, the unit has a custom panel that suits the Netgear MA311 WiFi card or similar physical styled cards, and although other PCI cards may be used, they are done so only by OEM agreement with Tranquil PC
• Is it true that you can run Windows XP, and it's applications on the T3 ?
  Answer - Yes.  The BXP based system provides a facility where the T3 can boot from a virtual disk, held on a LAN connected Image server (the T2 is ideal for this). Please see www.vci.com for further information regarding BXP.  It actually loads Windows faster than a locally connected hard disk !
• Can I supply my own CF cards ?
  Answer - Yes, of course, but you must order the CF reader option, which comes with the PCI riser as standard.
• Does the unit get hot ?
  Answer - it depends on the motherboard and the CPU activity.  If you are running a PD6000 - decoding a long video stream, it will get warm, but as long as there is adequate ventilation, the unit operates safely within the CPU specifications.
• Can I fit a hard disk ?
  Answer - Yes. The T3 is available with a notebook hard disk. 
• Can I add a IR Remote device ?
  Answer - Yes, but only as an OEM partner.
